MASTER PROFESSIONALS

IN PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY

 

                                 

                                  MANAGEMENT OF THE PROFESSIONALS, BY THE PROFESSIONALS, FOR THE PROFESSIONALS

Students will start their studies at the level that matches their existing qualifications and work experience, and these are assessed by MPIPS.


Students must ensure they confirm their starting point with MPIPS before beginning their studies. They should ensure to include a full CV and
job description if they have one. They may also be entitled to exemptions. These are also assessed by MPIPS. MPIPS have constructed their qualifications to allow everyone involved in supply networks to study at an appropriate level:

Registered MPIPS  – the registration level  is available to anyone aged 18 or over. It is aimed at those new to procurement and supply or those embarking on a career in supply network management. The principles of procurement and supply will be explained so that prior qualifications are not essential, although it helps if the student is working in, or have worked in, procurement and supply.  Study Period: 6 months. Students may enter directly  at this level.

 
Associate MPIPS – Associate of Master Professionals in Procurement and Supply (AMPIPS) is awarded at Diploma level. You will develop the knowledge and skills to understand and contribute to procurement and supply environment at the operational level in order to support the objectives of the procurement and supply departments. To complete the Diploma the student needs to be aged 18 or over and have a minimum of  one years’suitable work experience or be 18 or over and have a Level 2 qualification which is appropriate such as the Advanced Certificate. Study Period: 12 months. Students with the relevant experience may enter directly at this level.

 

Member MPIPS – Member of Master Professionals in Procurement and Supply (PMPIPS) can be achieved at the Advanced Diploma level. You will develop tactical skills to support supply network strategies.The Advanced Diploma is only available to students who are 21 and over and have a minimum of two years suitable work experience or be 21 and over and have the Diploma. Study Period: 12 months. Students who have successfully studied the Diploma at the OSCA may enter at this level.

 

Leading MPIPS – Leading Master Professionals in Procurement and Supply (MMPIPS) is completed through the Professional Diploma. This is only for students who have the Advanced Diploma and leads to full membership of  Professionals in Procurement and Supply (MMPIPS). Study period: 12 months. Students who have successfully studied the Advanced Diploma at the OSCA may enter at this level.

 

Fellow MPIPS – Fellow Master Professionals in Procurement and Supply (FPIPS) is compleleted through the Fellowship Diploma. It is only for students who have successfully studied the Professional Diploma may enter at this level. Study period: 18 months. Students must have been a full member of MPIPS for a minimum period of three years and must prove  exceptional contribution in a key responsible managerial or specialist role.


Grand MPIPS – Grand Master Professionals in Procurement and Supply (GMPIPS) is by application only.  You should have been a Fellow of Professionals in Procurement and Supply for at least two years and have provided training or consultancy internationally.
